5 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast around 08:00am your guide will pick you from your hotel in Arusha with safari vehicle and drive you to Tarangire national park on the way, you will have a short stop at the supermarket for any personal items if needed. The drive is about 2-2.5 hours (120km) to Tarangire National Park, passing through beautiful Masai villages and scenic landscapes. When arrive in the park you will go through registration and start your full day game drive in the park. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants, giant baobab trees, and Tarangire River which attracts many animals and gave the great view when you are in the park. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park with a beautiful view. In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you from your lodge and drive you towards Serengeti National Park which is most famous national park and it’s known for having a lot of animals and having the great migration. So, your guide will drive you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will have a short stop at the Ngorongoro Crater Viewpoint for photos and a short explanation about the crater from your guide. You will continue to Serengeti with game drive you will see a lot of animals those big five, big cats and birds too. Our guide knows the best place where animals hide during the day. In the evening your guide will drive you to your tented camp inside the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park

This is the best day because you will start the game drive early in the morning after having your breakfast mind you that, this could be the day where you can have an option activity which is balloon safari where by when you wake up your guide will pick you and takes you to the ballon area where you can have a ride about one hour and this conducted before having breakfast that’s why we call an optional activity so, after the ride you can go down and have your breakfast at that area then continue with the game drive. Your guide will take you to different areas following the animal movements and this day there is high chance to see the big five, big cats lions, leopards, cheetahs hunting, and also the great wildebeest migration but depending on the season.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast your guide will take you to Ngorongoro crater where you will pass small villages and farms then up to the crater rim where you will stop at a view point to take photos of crater then go down into the crater for a game drive where here animals are easily seen because are in the one place. Animals are seen easily because they are in one place so you’ll see lions, rhinos, hippos, zebras and birds. Then in the afternoon you can have lunch then go for another game drive and then to your lodge for overnight and dinner.

Day 5: Cultural Tour & Departure

After breakfast, your guide will pick you from your lodge and drive you for a Maasai cultural visit where the real Maasai village is and meet the Maasai people. You will learn about their traditional lifestyle, see their houses made of mud and cow dung, watch their famous jumping dance, and see how they make fire and jewelry. After the cultural tour, your guide will pass you to a local gift shop where you can buy souvenirs, handmade crafts, and gifts for your family and friends at home. Then your guide will drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Your guide will say goodbye. This will be the end of your amazing Tanzania lodge safari with unforgettable experience.
