Day 1: Arusha to Arusha National Park – Arusha
After breakfast in Arusha, your private safari guide will pick you up and drive you to Arusha National Park. This is a gentle way to begin your safari, especially if you have just arrived in Tanzania and want to start exploring without spending the whole day on the road.
Arusha National Park is a beautiful and varied park with forests, open grasslands, lakes, and views of Mount Meru. During your game drive, you may see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, monkeys, and different bird species. The park is also known for its peaceful scenery and is quite different from the larger savannah parks you will visit later.
