Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast in Arusha, your private safari guide will pick you up and begin the drive to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours and passes through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife during the dry season. During your afternoon game drive, you will explore the park while looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many bird species.
