Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Mombasa and begin your scenic drive to Tsavo East National Park. The journey takes approximately 3–4 hours, offering beautiful views of Kenya’s rural countryside and the rolling landscapes of the coast inland.

Upon arrival at the Bachuma Gate, your adventure officially begins. You’ll enjoy an en-route game drive into the park, where you may encounter herds of red-dust elephants, elegant giraffes, zebras, and prides of lions resting under the acacia trees. The vast Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows, creates a breathtaking backdrop to your safari.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive as the sun sets over the savannah. Watch the wildlife come alive in the cooler hours before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Amboseli National Park

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Tsavo East. This is the best time to spot predators before they retreat from the rising sun. Visit the famous Aruba Dam, a popular watering hole teeming with elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, and continue to the iconic Mudanda Rock — a natural viewpoint offering panoramic views of the plains below.

After breakfast, you will check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, a drive of approximately 3 hours through scenic landscapes and small Maasai settlements. Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch and a brief relaxation at your lodge or camp.

In the late afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. Here, you’ll witness some of Africa’s largest elephant herds roaming against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro — the tallest mountain in Africa. Keep your camera ready for spectacular photo opportunities of wildlife framed by the snow-capped peaks. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with an early morning game drive, the perfect time to capture Amboseli’s magical sunrise and observe animals grazing peacefully in the golden light. Visit Observation Hill for sweeping views of the park’s wetlands and wildlife before returning to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your drive back to Mombasa, arriving in the afternoon. Along the way, enjoy one last glimpse of Kenya’s beautiful countryside before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport — marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day safari adventure.
