Itinerary:

06:30 AM – Pick-up from your hotel
Your safari guide will collect you from your Arusha hotel. You’ll set off on a comfortable drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Manyara National Park in about 2 hours.

09:00 AM – Game drive through the park
You will begin your safari with a drive through the dense forest, where you might spot troops of baboons and elephants. As the forest opens into grassy plains and acacia woodland, look out for zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and the occasional lion lounging in a tree.

12:30 PM – Picnic lunch at the hippo pool
You will enjoy your lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the lake or hippo pool. Take in the views and watch for birds, hippos, and other wildlife that come to the water.

01:30 PM – Afternoon game drive
After lunch, you’ll explore more of the park, including the hot springs area and the lake shore, known for its flamingos and water birds. This is a great time for photography and peaceful observation.
