Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can rest at the lodge, you will enjoy the garden, or explore a bit of town.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 2 hours. This park is small but full of beauty and variety. You’ll pass through forests filled with monkeys and birds, open grassy areas where you may see elephants and zebras, and the lake shore, where flamingos and hippos can often be seen. You’ll enjoy a relaxed game drive and picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to the nearby highlands of Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Karatu to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. You’ll spend the day exploring the park and watching for wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, antelope, and many bird species. After the game drive, you’ll return to Karatu for the night.

Day 4: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

You’ll enter the park by midday and enjoy a game drive in the central Serengeti region, where animals are active all year round. Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

In the afternoon, you can head back out for another game drive or simply enjoy the view from your camp.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

You’ll head back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, reaching the crater highlands by late afternoon. The air is cooler here, and you’ll enjoy views of green hills and local farms. Rest and enjoy your final evening in the bush.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha – Departure

You’ll explore the crater floor during a half-day game drive, looking for rhinos, hippos, warthogs, buffalo, zebras, and possibly lions. After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, you’ll drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
