Beginning in Nairobi, the journey takes you directly to Maasai Mara the heart of Kenya’s safari circuit and home to the Big Five, massive wildebeest herds, stunning golden plains, and extraordinary predator action. After exploring the Mara, you will cross into Tanzania through the Isebania border and continue deep into Serengeti National Park, where endless horizons, vibrant wildlife, and spectacular landscapes await.
The trip concludes at the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s natural wonders renowned for its dense concentration of animals including lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi → Maasai Mara + Afternoon Game Drive
We’ll begin your safari with an early pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. As we head toward Maasai Mara, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley perfect for photos. We’ll then continue to the Mara and arrive in time for lunch at your comfortable lodge or tented camp. After settling in, we’ll head out for your first game drive, exploring the vast savannahs filled with elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and more. In the evening, we’ll return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives in Maasai Mara
Today is all about exploring the beauty of Maasai Mara. We’ll start with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active you might spot lions on the hunt or cheetahs roaming the plains. After a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint, we’ll continue with an afternoon game drive, giving you plenty of time to enjoy elephants, giraffes, and an incredible variety of birds. If you like, we can also arrange a Maasai village visit or a sunrise hot air balloon flight (optional).

Day 3: Maasai Mara → Serengeti via Isebania Border
After breakfast, we’ll leave Maasai Mara and drive toward the Isebania border. Once we clear immigration, you’ll meet your Tanzanian guide and continue into Serengeti National Park. The entire drive acts like a game drive, so you’ll keep spotting wildlife along the way. By evening, we’ll arrive at your Serengeti lodge, where dinner and relaxation await under the starlit African sky.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drives in Central Serengeti
Today you’ll explore the heart of Serengeti famous for its endless plains and extraordinary wildlife. Morning and afternoon game drives will take you to iconic spots where lions rest on rocky kopjes, leopards lounge in acacia trees, and elephants roam freely. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and spend the day soaking in the magic of one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries.

Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

By late afternoon, we’ll reach your lodge near the crater rim. You’ll enjoy dinner with a cool highland breeze and breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro landscape.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Drive to Arusha
After an early breakfast, we’ll descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is packed with wildlife lions, elephants, hippos, zebras, flamingos, and sometimes even the rare black rhino. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before heading back up the crater wall and driving to Arusha for your final night.

Day 7: Departure from Arusha
