After that, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to see the Big Five, and finish your adventure at Lake Manyara, a lush green park with monkeys, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Each night, you'll stay at public campsites, sleeping in dome tents with mattresses and enjoying meals made by your cook. This trip offers a mix of adventure, wildlife, and unforgettable memories.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha. You’ll drive around 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its huge elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. After entering the park, you'll begin your game drive, looking for elephants, zebras, giraffes, and possibly lions. Lunch will be a picnic inside the park, surrounded by nature. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to a nearby campsite, where you can relax while your chef prepares dinner. You’ll sleep in a dome tent with a mattress, ready for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll begin your drive toward the Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll pass the scenic highlands of Ngorongoro. You’ll enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill gate and start your first game drive in this vast park, famous for big cats, the Great Migration (seasonal), and endless plains. Lunch will be served as a picnic on the way, and you'll continue your game drive into the central Serengeti. In the evening, arrive at your campsite inside the park for dinner and overnight under the stars.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti

Start your day early with a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After the morning drive, return to camp for a relaxed breakfast. Lunch will be a picnic in the bush, and in the afternoon, continue your game drive before returning to camp for dinner. Relax by the campfire and listen to the sounds of the wild before heading to bed.

From here, enjoy views of the crater and prepare for your final game drive the next day. Dinner will be served at camp before your last night under canvas.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara to Arusha

Wake up early for breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This natural wonder is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and rhinos. After exploring the crater floor, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a short visit. Manyara is known for its monkeys, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. You’ll have a picnic lunch along the way. In the afternoon, begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, ending your safari.
