Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara + Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari adventure begins with an early pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, where you meet your professional guide and fellow travelers. You embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, making stops along the way for photos and to enjoy the spectacular views. After approximately 5-6 hours of travel, you arrive at the Masai Mara, check in to your comfortable budget lodge or tented camp, and enjoy a welcome lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll head out for your first exciting game drive across the park’s vast plains. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and more. As the sun sets over the savanna, you’ll return to your camp for a relaxing dinner and a good night's rest, ready for another adventure tomorrow.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive + Maasai Village Visit

Start your day with an early breakfast, then head out for a full-day game drive. You’ll explore the Masai Mara Reserve, looking for wildlife in every corner of the park. Your guide will take you to the best spots to see the Big Five lions, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, and leopards as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and hundreds of bird species. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic location, often by the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles are commonly spotted.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit a Maasai village. Here, you’ll meet members of the Maasai community, learn about their unique way of life, and witness traditional dances and ceremonies. It’s an incredible chance to connect with the local culture. Afterward, you’ll return to the camp for dinner and reflect on the day's experiences

• 91+ days before departure: Full refund less 10% administration fee.
• 61–90 days before departure: 25% of total package cost charged.
• 31–60 days before departure: 50% of total package cost charged.
• 15–30 days before departure: 75% of total package cost charged.
• 0–14 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total package cost charged.
