Join us for a short but exciting safari to Nyerere National Park, in southern Tanzania. This park was once part of the famous Selous Game Reserve and is full of wildlife and beautiful nature. In just two days, you can see elephants, lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, and many birds.

This safari is perfect if you are coming from Dar es Salaam and want to enjoy a real African wildlife experience without spending too many days traveling. You will enjoy both a game drive in a 4x4 and a boat safari on the Rufiji River. It’s a mix of adventure and calm, letting you enjoy wildlife and nature comfortably.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park (Boat Safari)

Our safari began early in the morning from Dar es Salaam and drive through the beautiful countryside to Nyerere National Park. The drive takes about 5–6 hours. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, then relax a bit before your first safari.

In the afternoon, we take a boat safari on the Rufiji River. As you float on the river, you can see hippos in the water, crocodiles on the banks, and many birds flying around. It’s calm, beautiful, and perfect for taking photos. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, listening to the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Nyerere National Park – Dar es Salaam (Game Drive)

Wake up early and have breakfast before going on a morning game drive. This is the best time to see wildlife because animals are active and the air is cool. You will be able see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many more as you explore the park.

Your guide will tell you interesting stories about the animals and how they live in the wild. After the game drive, you will take your lunch, then start your drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening with great memories from your safari.
