Daily Itinerary
Day 1 – Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
You will begin at the quiet Londorossi Gate and walk through lush rainforest filled with birds and colobus monkeys. The trail is gentle, giving you time to enjoy the sounds of the forest. By late afternoon you’ll reach Mti Mkubwa, where your spacious luxury tent, warm bedding, and a hearty dinner await.

Day 2 – Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
You’ll leave the forest behind and enter moorland dotted with giant heather and wildflowers. Wide views of the Shira Plateau open as you climb. You’ll pause often for photos and water breaks before settling into Shira 1 Camp, where hot drinks, a sunset view, and a cozy bed will make you feel at home.

Day 3 – Shira 1 to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower

You’ll step onto Uhuru Peak in time for sunrise, celebrating with photos before descending to Barafu for a meal and continuing down to Mweka Gate. A private vehicle will take you back to Moshi for a hot shower and a soft hotel bed.
