Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

• Game Drive: 4–5 hours

Your adventure begins in Arusha after a hearty breakfast at your hotel. Meet your expert safari guide for a brief introduction, then embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its vast elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a gourmet lunch at a luxury lodge or tented camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions or leopards amidst Tarangire’s stunning savanna. As the sun sets, relax with a warm dinner and unwind under the starry sky.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

• Distance: 150 km (93 miles)
• Travel Time: ~2.5 hours
• Game Drive: 6–7 hours

Rise early for breakfast, then drive 2.5 hours to the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder teeming with wildlife. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with wildebeests, zebras, and vibrant birdlife. Savor a picnic lunch amidst the crater’s breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Arusha, arriving at your hotel or the airport by evening.
