Day 1: Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve
Depart from Zanzibar Airport at 07:30 AM (exact timing depends on season and charter schedule). Arrive at Mtemere Airstrip around 9:00 AM, where your expert driver-guide and 4x4 safari vehicle await. Embark on a half-day game drive in the Selous Game Reserve, spotting elephants, giraffes, and possibly wild dogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, followed by an afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River, observing hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
