14-Day Kilimanjaro (Machame Route), Safari, and Zanzibar Itinerary

Accommodation: Machame Campsite
Your Kilimanjaro journey begins at Machame Gate. The day’s trek ascends through lush rainforest, followed by a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The night will be spent camping under the towering trees at Machame Camp.

Time Taken: 4-5 hours
Accommodation: Shira Camp
The trek continues through heath and moorland, offering incredible views as you ascend. At Shira Camp, you'll be immersed in the expansive Shira Plateau with breathtaking panoramas of the landscape.

Time Taken: 6-7 hours
Accommodation: Barranco Camp
The day includes a climb to the Lava Tower (4,600 m) for acclimatization, followed by a descent into the Barranco Valley, with spectacular views of the Barranco Wall. You'll camp at Barranco Camp, surrounded by dramatic peaks and valleys.

Accommodation: Karanga Camp
Today’s trek involves tackling the Barranco Wall, a steep ascent, followed by a gentler path to Karanga Camp. You'll have stunning views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.

Accommodation: Barafu Camp
The ascent to Barafu Camp is shorter, but the altitude gains will be noticeable. The camp provides excellent views of the surrounding glaciers, offering a perfect spot to rest before the summit attempt.

Time Taken: 12-14 hours
Accommodation: Mweka Camp
The summit day begins in the early morning hours, with the ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your success, you'll descend to Mweka Camp for the night.

Time Taken: 3-4 hours
The final day involves descending through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificate. Afterward, you'll head back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest.

- Age Restrictions: The package is suitable for individuals aged 12-70, with a recommended level of fitness and acclimatization to higher altitudes.
Other Terms
A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due 30 days before departure. Cancellations within 30 days of departure are non-refundable. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Climbers should be in good health and may need to provide a medical certificate upon request. Luggage is limited to one checked bag and one carry-on. Special requests should be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability.
